I had a similar problem and message today, only it completely took out the tom tom !!

went to use tom tom nav 3 today, it would not show the route as you went along, it was slow to update, although the written route planner was there and the voice was working.
it gave me a strange mes ...

so how do you turn it off other than holding down the button. ?

what is the best program for travelling in france, I already have the tom tom maps, are these a s good as it gets, or are there bette ones ?

I have set up the speeds, I just wanted to know if there were preferences ie shortest route, quickest route etc

Does anyone know how to set preferences in nav 3 like you do in auto route, I find tt keeps trying to get me back to the main road when its better or shorter to stay on a back road ?
