Tomtom 5 displays the map in grayscale colors whenever you don't have a GPS fix. |

You'll have to download them from within TTN5. I don't have my Ipaq here so I can't verify this, but isn't there a "Download extras" menu item on one of the menu screens? Can't remember if it's on the ... |

biker1, my point was that after you have downloaded a color scheme from Tomtom you can use any other color scheme (.clr) file you want. Even the old ones created with CSE. |

DavidW, the adapter truly is RJ11 (centre 4 pins populated), and so is the Tomtom receiver's connector.
