Seen a few positive posts on this but have to say that's not my experience - they took money quickly plus cost of next day delivery but only sent my item when I contacted them to see where it was.

Hi - I tried that and got the same message. I think it may be looking for the maps in the wrong place?

They are the new maps installed on the SD card - and it's on start up where it says no maps found

yes I can see the map - it's called Great_Britain - and the tomtom6 version is 6.010

not sure about the maps assume they are the same?

I've just upgraded (legally) to tomto 6 from 5 on my xda - doing a hard re-boot beforehand.

all worked ok but cannot get the thing to find the maps - on the SD card.

Can anyone assist?
