I now have a 720 that loads up albeit very slowly - I think the internal flash is damaged and causes problems.
The 720 didn't care for the SDHC card but is now running on a 2 ... |

I have been asked to look at a friends TomTom 720 that hangs on the screen with the tomtom picture.
I have connected it to a PC and it shows as 2 drives in device manager but neither have any media ... |

30 secs and 15 secs which I believe is default.
If I understand correctly I should get 1 warning or 2 if I'm over the camera speed limit. |

Your csv into ash10 then to the Garmin using garmin poiloader
The gpx files are from ash10's utility.
I have no idea what format they take in the satnav so I haven't checked them. |

Whoops 199 & 399 the other values were from a 20mph camera.
In the gpx files on the PC which have xml coding there are 2 entries for each camera.
These are the proximity values from the gpx ... |

I get 5 seperate warnings (the last sometimes just after passing the camera).
I have deleted all my POI's and re-installed them. This made no differ ... |

The file is now "tmobyle.csv". I think I read both messages and decide to implement both suggestions - it saved multiple attempts at getting it right.

It seems I had too many POI's and in particular the t-mobile.csv (wifi) was generating alerts. Apparently because it has a numeric character in the fielname. i.e "-"

I've renamed the t-mobile file and this it would seem has solved the stray warnings I also removed some of the othe POI's and this seems to have cured my jerky display too. see:
