funny thing is GPS tuner works fine for me - just hit the start button...
where as TOM TOM does not auto start the GPS and I need to start it with an external program!

Guys,
Does any one else have any issues with TOM TOM often not kicking off the inbuilt GPS.
I have tried both the hardware port and port 4 and 57k baud rate....
Is there a little trick to it? ... |

some scroat broke into our car on the drive and nicked my pocket pc and GPS.
So I need to replace it.....for info I have also got a car with a front heated windscreen so need a reciever ... |

I'd love to know this one too just for simplicities sake - that was the best feature about the co pilot software the flexible map downloads that crossed borders with ease.
