Is there a facility for video out while in use?

This would allow the rear camera to double up as a reversing camera, with just the monitor powered up from the rev lights.

It seems to support many smartphones and PDAs, but no dedicated satnavs.

If it doesn't put the GPS data into the image EXIF, what's the point?

This would seem to be a basic requirement of any such system, so the position data stays with the image whatever software you'r ...

One criticism was of poor GPS reception due to the internal antenna.

This could easily be resolved using an external aerial - according to the HTC website there is a socket for this.

With PDAs now appearing with good built-in GPS (eg Glofiish), there is a new market opening up. Previously PDA users have to be tech-savvy enough to cope with pairing, OS crashes etc. With on-board ...

I can connect the 236 to my PC using bluetooth, but the GPSviewer software won't work.
