ok. i now have a reply from navman technical support and they say that the most a navman 520 can handle is 512md. i know this is wrong because there are threads with users using a 2gb sd card.

just had a little brainwave. dont you think it could be the sd card is faulty/corrupt in some way. because everytime i successfully copy all files to 2gb card the arcs folder displays some wierd ... |

well it does say that the largest memory card for the icn 520 is 2048mb.
it does transfer but the navman just doesnt recognise it. does it have something to do with you can only use the memory card ... |

ive tried showing all hidden files and then copied from original sd to pc. the pc to new 2gb sd card but still no maps.
anyone know????
