It takes a normal sd card and it can take 2GB garenteed as i se that size card but i cannot let you know about a 4GB card.

The battery lasts between 4 to 5 hours under constant use which is about right.
The problem seems to be when the P550 is closed down activesync is still running see the thread by ifour to solve this ...

The battery on my Mio P550 when closed down lasts only 48 hours.
Is this the norm or does anybody else have battery life problems with this Pda.

I had the same problem with my A201 straight out of the box would not go beyond the welcome screen.
contacted Mio who said the device was daed on arrival and to return it.

Is there any software that will allow you to download the latest ephemeris file like that on the Mio A701. To give you a quicker start time.

My best guess is to try the tomtom setting for fugawi.
Mainly the HWCOM.

The flip out aerial on the Mio 207 does not have to be fully open to receive the sat nav signals. I use one Myself with the Fugawi system and maps.
But with personnel use I have had out of the Aquap ...

I highly receommend the Aquapac it is totaly waterproof and very protective and fits all PDAs.

Choose 'Other NMEA', then baud rate of 57600, then GPS_HWCOM and it will work.

Had this problem myself the only way to avoid it is to set the route once outside of the multistories.
