It is about 8 months old and I can also tell you that the replacement button cell battery didn't solve the problem so it has gone in the bin.

Previous incarnations of Tomtom were shipped on CD, which then installed onto your own SD card, allowing you the functionality you already had on your SD Card.

I have found that if you copy the entire contents of the Tomtom SD card to the ROOT of your own SD Card, you can then install it AND still use all your other applications.

Perhaps if you had purchased the software and Maps of Western Europe DVD you would have been able to install it on the SD card of your choice?

It just refuses to install from any source other than the sd card reader of my IPAQ.
