I'm still on ver 2.5 with no lockups or any trouble....and i think its gonna stay that way.. 
Agreed, like i said earlier, i think 2.5 was the most stable release they did, i did upgrade to 2 ... |

Tried 2.9 had similar problems to what people have been reporting above, wish Garmin would test these updates before they release them!

Try it
Just make sure you do a backup copy of the card containing the version 7 maps first though, just incase anything goes wrong.  |

| Have you all got the signal strength being displayed on the micromaxx pda's??, the one i've got here at the moment has now got tomtom 5 on it, it works fine but refuses to display signal strength. |
