Assuming that your electrics are -ve earth, you put the fuse on the +ve side of the socket. Power needs to flow from battery through fuse to socket to device to earth (frame).

Depends on whether you bought TT6 or upgraded to it from TT5. If you bought it, you have two licences. If you upgraded, you have one.

I did the same a while ago. Just copied it all over from one card to another via my PC card reader. Worked just fine.
