While I appreciate the burden of compliance placed on UK businesses (I run a small business myself), I do not agree that we are used to haggling in this country, especially not for electronic goods.

I spoke to avery helpful woman at Garmin today who told me that the GPSMAP 60s and 60cs should be released in the UK within weeks.

The Garmin website has a bit more info on them.

The Geko has most of the features of the Vista, but is smaller and has no memory for mapping.

The Vista is larger, probably more rugged, has a higher resolution display and 24mb ...

Are you looking at £250+ for a handheld standalone device which supports Xtrac and NAAS (or equiv.)?
