Is the traffic data received different (more accurate?) when received via the smartphone link than via the DAB TMC? Or does it just come more often?

Tested on way home. The device is a 2460 and it has a GTM 36 antenna.
Interesting bit is that the "accessory socket" plug on the GTM 36 has an LED that doesn't light up when it's plugged in, yet it ... |

mmm.. will try wiggling it around a bit.
It's well out of warranty so if it is the cable I will probably stump up for one of the new smartlink models.

I tried that, but voice is at full. I have to up the master volume to be able to hear the voice commands over the radio, which seems to up the volume on the speed camera blips.
