Login with the acount details that you used to buy the map.
Go to "my tomtom"»"my maps".
See if the map you bought is there.
If its there,check if in tomtom home you are ... |

Installed TT Home latest (2.1.2.121 as of today). Updated the software on mt TTO (original) to latest 7.x.
Bought the new UK 710 map. Payment authorised. It did say downloading... for a while, but ... |

The only thing I've noted re sat lock with my 350 is when starting up on the move.
I now open the car and start the nuvi before anything else, can't say I've found it a big problem. But at some time ... |

| Don't know about the satellite acquisition problem; sounds liek your unit is duff. With respect to speed cameras, teh Nuvi usually gives you a bong-bong as you approach a camera and then single bongs ... |

Quite often my new Nuvi 350 fails to acquire sats when switched on. If I view the 'map' showing the position of the sats in the sky, it is empty, and stats empty indfinitely.
