I have the same version of TomTom, but can't see any way to actually enter the minus sign on the co-ordinate entry page, so don't understand how TomTom could be 'removing' the - !

I know what you're saying and I could just convert the E-0.260861 to a W0.260861 and it would all work, but why does TT remove the minus.

Just tried entering a lat/long into tomtom 6.030 it defaults to East on the long if you don't enter anything but then ignores the minus.
So for example, I'm trying to get to :-
Lat: 51.23 ... |

My tried and tested old gr-231 seems to be taking a turn for the worst, it can take up to 10mins these days to do an acquistion from cold and seems to be getting worse? If it's broken how does ... |
