Its a nice large screen but the maps don't seem as detailed
When the mapping div of TomTom build a map they have to reduce resolution to suit the device. No point having detail that won't show on a ...

Motorway = 70
Dual Carriageway = 60
A road = 50
B road = 30
Unclassified = 20

With the option to adjust each

or something like that, tha ...

But to the topic of 720, I have a Go720 Europe I'll sell if anyone is interested.

It had to be repaired (TT's stupid power wiring) ...

Surely a good SD card will run faster than the internal memory, so why change back?

My 720 has the habit of reading town names with Saint abbreviated like "St Leonards" as S T Leonards.

The 1005 says Close as in Brighton Close as close as in 'close the door.' Close must appear in ...

Have used Samsung Portal in the past, and Motorola Defy+, Android 2.2 and 2.3 respectively. No issues, hands-free works, and address book is uploaded. Every time on TT1005 but I think that is just a ...

I've not read about TT's camera processing
The user's information is flawed too, because of the lousy user interface. On the 1005 at least, the Is this camera still here? question disappears as soo ...

this is actually a right pain, as it means you have to put tomtom on the SD and override the internal disk.
Probably worth doing anyway. I had to because of occasional memory errors on my refurb TT7 ...

But TA don't calculate speed, they make maps.
S'OK, I can remember what can contain huge errors, hence weighting.

Unless there's been a change, I think you'll also find that TT's average speed is ...

The bar over the top is Average speed based on where TT thinks the cameras are/were.

As you go through the 1st camera (or TT's location of it ;-) ) the display disappears totally AT A VERY CRITICAL ...

I believe I've seen new/updated cameras appear from both.

So I think Anita is on right track.

Has TT charger any sign of cable failure at the ...
