ah! Yes, I do, it's a Nokia E65 that it's running on, so that might explain it.
I've deleted the two categories I added, and the software now works quite happily  |

Well I had all the cameras installed correctly, but whenever I approach one, McGuider throws up an unexpected error, and crashes out 
I think there's a thread about this problem elsewhere already ... |

turns out I'm a muppet - and had unticked the city navigator maps - nice work eh? Reticked, and it's all working fine now! Just as well, I'm driving to Essex from Edinburgh next week!
