I have installed Home on a laptop running XP, connected the Go to it...and still getting the same error. Have reset the Go, to no avail.

Not impressed with my new device so far...indeed, not really ...

Try running Home in XP compatible mode and see if that helps.

I have just followed the instructions and downloaded the latest map...and I am told there is not enough memory, I need to free 45 mb.

I am guessing now that I'll have to get an SD card? ...

I got a Tomtom GO 730 a few days ago. I have downloaded the Home software and I'm trying to check if I have the latest maps and take advantage of the latest maps guarantee.
