The problem with the settings not being saved is because the .cfg file in the map directory is set to read only. If the card has been unlocked and you still get the problem then

| It probably means your cfg file is read only. I had the same problem. Copied it to the computer via active-sync. Deselected the read only on the properties and then copied it back to the map directory ... |

How do you de-select the read only box from the sd card. WHen I explore it via active-sync it is greyed out??
