You're absolutely correct!
Oddly enough Navman maps (licensed or pirated) are more user friendly running on competing platforms. Why?

It's really complicated to do what you want. Why not list your favourites and simply use whatever mapping software you have on your PC such as Autoroute and mark all your favourites with pushpins - y ... |
