PostForum: Garmin Handheld GPS Receivers   Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 4:21 pm   Subject: Garmin GPS60CSx from USA
I bought a 60CSx in the US in September and installed Topo GB on my return. It works fine, subject of course to the usual criticisms of the Topo mapping. The only slight drawback is that the basemap ...

I'd be grateful for some advice on this question. I am looking to purchase my first handheld GPS for (not too demanding) walking in the South East UK. I have pretty well narrowed my search to the 60 ...

Darren,

Thanks for the confirmation. Your comments on the (mis)diagnosis of the failure mechanism is a bit worrying. Do you know if the TomTom BT receiver reliability is OK now? It looks an attr ...

Looking at the descriptions and illustrations on the TT website, it appears that the TT BT GPS receiver no longer includes the charging/docking cradle. Has anybody else spotted this, or is it just my ...

If one goes to Settings - System - Memory - Running Programs - and then select the relevant programme and push "stop" does this do the trick as well?
