I have a 2019 Nissan Qashqai and the Connect system is not fitted with a SD Card.
The maps are now provided by Tom Tom and updates are done via the Nissan App called Map Update Tool and a USB memory ...

I’d assumed the time would change automatically in Spring and Autumn, as it does in the other Forum I belong to.
I have done update now.

Still no updates from Nissan so may have discontinued this service.

I find CameraAlert most useful in the situation where the average speed zone
signs are obscured for some reason, e.g. as your overtaking a high sided vehicle.

Not surprised as some of the average speed cameras on A12 near Essex border are in wooded area, support poles painted green, with only cameras painted yellow.

Agreed the Nissan Connect System is poor.
There has not been any updates of their Speed Camera Data since September 2017 so I always keep my iPhone and SD card CameraAlert Database up to date.

Still using same method to identify type of camera involved on iPhone and getting camera warning icon on Connect screen at same time.
This is working fine for me.

I’ve given up trying to get text on Connect screen.
Instead have downloaded CamerAlert to iPhone so get camera type warnings that route now Smile

Had hoped with over 2600 viewers on Connect related pages would get a result but can only wait and see!

Point well made.
However I am only asking for confirmation of what they see on their Connect screen so surely someone could tell me.
