The app has an option where it should start automatically when you put the phone into car mode (which is separate to car dock). What is this?

How about an ipod touch compatible version without the live camera alerts as you drive.
It would be very handy for me to check cameras and submit updates. |

I think you are prompted because you have an active subscription.
The only thing you could do to avoid being prompted would be to contact tomtom support and ask them to cancel their subscription. |
