In the free poi's files this is the format I find.
Is it necessary to always maintain this format?
yes, garmin requires: lon,lat,name,details

when i convert to a csv file, it puts all the data into one single cell and not three. any way around this?

In order to free POI space in my gps, I'd like to export/convert this file to an excel .csv format in order to upload it back onto my gps as an extra ... |
