The bco skin is great! I love it - as you say, the MIO side panel is just too intrusive, whereas this is perfect.

Yes - it's the same on mine, 29 for 30mph limit, 39 for 40mph, etc - mildly annoying as it wasn't like this on my earlier device!

Well, I've used it on a 200m journey - can't say that its a significant improvement on my old Mio 268+

if you were considering the 269+ ... why not the 268+, essentially the same kit with the data stored on an SD card (1Gb dirt cheap these days) |
