The 1XL seems very basic and I regret buying it.

I have just bought a TomTom 1xl and I am trying to navigate to somewhere that is just long and lat coordinates but I can't see anywhere to add them in.

Well strange as this may seem, when I went back to the unit the screen was now looking like the unit was switched off rather than backlit, I guessed this was because the battery had depleted so decide ...

No effect sadly, the flash tool wouldn't recognise that the unit was even connected, every time I clicked the continue arrow it just kept asking me to connect the tomtom.

I recently was offered an update via 'Home' but the card was too small, so I bought a new card, installed my back up to it and proceeded to add the update. No problems so far.
