Especially as the new Via 20 model has a sensor to automatically flip the screen 180 degrees if you mount it upside down.

Seems a real wasted opportunity not to offer a 90 degree rotation too.

I already have a BlackBerry for my job so don't really need an extra contract smartphone.
You can get sat nav for some Blackberry models - just not sure which or how good it is. Hopefully somebody h ...

If you have a smartphone you could look at a sat nav app for that. The app would depend upon the OS of your smartphone, but most (if not all) of them do both portrait and landscape modes

Good news - I upgraded my Axim to the latest ROM (A12?), which claimed to address an issue around CF i/0 ports closing.
