You can start a call when in tomtom by pressing the green button on the spine of the screen, thats if you can get to it.

Thanks for your reply. I can't get at the green button when my PDA is in the cradle. I don't really need to make any calls when I'm driving anyway so it's not a real problem

you need to open the tomtom navigator.exe file in a hex edit program and
change all references to backlight to bbcklight then transfer the file back to the hand set. |

Have you tried partitioning the sd card into 2 1gig partions, this works for the XDA range of devices from O2 |
