Sorry if you have already tried this, but if everything at low volume, are you sure that the volume control on the unit has not been mistakenly turned down?

would anyone know of any free software to alter the .vpm voice file on a Garmin Nuvi as the volume of these files has become very low, thanks.

falkirk81 I have not seen the condition where 2 other members had to report a mobile sighting, from what I understood if the sighting was verified that was the end of the process, obviously not.

I don't know if this has any bearing on the problem but the voice warnings are VERY LOUD, making the Nuvi unit vibrate and being slightly distorted Confused

It would appear so. I also checked this against a Gatso and a Monitron and they exhibit the same behaviour.

I'll check again later today and this week as i may have missed the Initial Proximity Ale ...
