Sorry lbendlin I should have made myself clearer, I was just a little concerened it was the transformer he was going to cut off.

I believe there is a transformer in the TT cigarette lighter charging cables that steps it from 12v to 5v so be careful or you may end up with a fried TT gps.

A soft reset may be enough to cure your problem it seems to fix a lot of little quirks.

tap small arrow top left of screen
tap map,
tap A to B,
you will then see T & From tabs fill in both these with your destination and where your journey may start from ...

Just a thought is the TT nav program loaded in your Ipaq memory and the maps on your CF card as it should be, or is the complete apllication on your CF card ?
