What do you need the toc file for? just perform a manual update using Windows Explorer as explained earlier in the thread - Mike
I don't think the manual install does everything that the automatic ... |

I disagree. I think the units are smart enough to know not to have me take an exit, cross a road and then take the on ramp back to the same highway I just got off of. |

I thought Google Maps used BOTH Navteq and Tele Atlas.
Google Earth uses Tele Atlas, Google Maps use Navteq. |

The only other alternative in my mind is the Nuvi 660.Without trying it, who's to say it won't take you the same way.
It might get that particular one right, but another location may be just as bad ... |

Fixed the problem. I installed 7.10 maps on top of 6.60. That was the problem. I unistalled the maps and reinstalled them again, and now I get updates. |

I'm having the same problem. I'm running Nav 7.161 and just installing NA 7.10 maps. I can send mapshare updates, but I'm not receiving them. Any ideas? |
