In a perfect world I'd rather TT had options to force the backlight to stay on, and more importantly to be able to turn it down in 'night mode' - I've never seen the point of changing the colours when ... |

A5 between Shrewsbury and Owestry has a nice new bypass around Nesscliffe. Using multimap this shows at the Collins route planning scale, but not on the OS 1:50000 scale or the TeleAtlas detail view. |

In principle you can do this - as you mention all you should need is a GPS that does not need a car 12V to run (e.g. compact flash type powered by PDA, or perhaps bluetooth type with internal battery) ... |

I also bought two cds, but liked it so much I bought another one as well. Once you've loaded everything (software, 1:50k 1/4 map, lowscale whole country maps) from one CD all you need from the others ... |
