| IR is assigned to com port 1. Try disabling "Receive all incoming beams" in the settings. May or may not work, but worth a try. |

The Toshiba E400 is a wonderful lightweight Pocket Pc that I would not swap. However the lack of CF port does lead you to being restricted to wired options.

| Sorry. As far as I am aware no one has managed to connect a GPS device successfully to the E400. Don't be fooled by suppliers offering cables for the E400. I've yet to get one to work. |
