Thanks Lost Property - I have done as your post. I did notice prevously that when viewing running programmes, active sync was often showing.

I use SPB plus which is supposed to shut all programmes ...

In addition to the above - I have installed the power patch that has been mentioned in other posts.

How do you convert tracks to routes using Mapsource? I am aware that this is easily done using Memory Map but unsure how using Mapsource.
