I have exactly the same problem! I have an XDA IIs running Nav 5 version 5.210 and have purchased the new UK and ireland map ver 660 through TomTom Home. I've checked my pna file and it says version 4 ...

I have an O2 XDA IIs running TT Navigator 5 and recently downloaded the UK and Ireland with WE major roads. TomTom support confirmed the map is correct for TT Nav 5, as my PDA doesn't support Nav 6.
