Did you not back-up your storage card with the original POIs? If so you should be able to copy it back to the card restoring original POIs. (That is what I feel, haven't tried it yet)

Hi Shadow

It isn't all singing & dancing with copilot! One has to reload the whole map after deleting the original speedcams. My Q is do I need to do it individually for each of those XL files ...

Unfortunately the 620 only powered thru the cigarette lighter & I was unable to test it outside the car. However I did not get a signal through the side window either.
