I used www.ttcode.com, but when I entered the product code, it came up with 2 activation codes, for old PDA's I did own ( these were sold as PDA's without the maps just in case your wondering!).

As long as you have a Product Code and Device Code that are legal they will send you the activation code. |

1) You can select OFF ROAD if thats any good
2) Yes it does
3) If TMC is something to do with Traffic, you can buy an add on I think

The 300 also comes with NT, but the City Select maps work ok. I know the 300 doesn't use TTS, but worth a try.

Hi,
I had a Garmin Quest, I installed City Select on my Nuvi 300.
You need to go to the Garmin Website and do a Second Unit Unlock.
This will give you the code you need to install the maps on ... |

Have to agree with you there. Travel to a friends in Biddulph and the NUVI 300 uses the most unimaginable route out, which like you say you could only get down with a 4x4. |

If I remember rightly, even with the proximity alert switched on, you are only warned if you have a route planned. If your using the Nuvi just as a map they don't show up. I could be wrong haven't had ... |
