I've just found that the Nuvi requires an input of 5 volts so I'd have to find a way to drop the 12 volts from the bike. Anyone know how best to do that? I know there are large resistors but I think t ... |

Yes, that's probably a good workaround. You could get a large paper map out and have a look at the roads. Then take a note of the waypoints you want to aim for and write them down on a bit of paper. ... |
