NO.
There is absolutely no USB GPS that can be used with ANY PDA.
Some may argue that there are, only because the few USB GPS that can be connected to PDA also have s ... |

Thanks for the replies. What about devices like the Mio? I heard that you can download maps for them.
Most PPC with built in GPS on the market now are OK and they invariably have sirf3 chips.

have you measured the actual output at the antenna, does it really have 5 volts?
I guess you have an old antenna (for use with II+) that needs 5v and you want to use that with your NEW GPS?

I cannot think of any portable GPS with any useable Japan map.
You may be able to find some Japan software if you use a PPC, but probably with only major cities supported. |

Ipaq 59xx series do not have serial port so CANNOT connect any GPS via cable.
I would advise you to forget your eTrex and buy a new bluetooth GPS, which would cost less than any cable adapter you m ... |

These Chinese GPS are usually CE Net based.
So you need CE Net software and maps of your choice. |

There are many ways. But it is not cheap and will not be satisfactory.
