I've never seen a definitive answer to the delay. Manually clearing the trip log seems to take a long time and some people have theorised that keeping this clear prevents the slow start up.

I like my 710 but the slow startups while it defrags itself drives me mad. I'm itching to go but it sits there for a couple of minutes not usa ...

I've just installed 4.90 from 4.80 but don't have the 4.80 install available (I did the 4.80 via WebUpdate) - is the 4.80 install available as a stand alone update should I need to go back ?

Yup search by city and it finds it, but if you try to search by address it returns Over Wallop only.

Just seemed a bit strange.

If I do a find for Over Whitacre in Mapsource it finds it. If I transfer the map to an SD card to use on my 310 the location Over Whitacre cannot be found and set as a destination.
