Well I'm using GPSVIEWER on my PC obviously.
The actual program doesn't need modifying, I just need to know how to set it up on a lower COM PORT. I'm sure it can be done. |

After updating the firmware on my device, sirfdemo still reports the firmware version as 3.1.1
I followed the instructions provided. |

I upgraded mine using Bluetooth. Set the baud rate to 38400.
Its not worth the risk if ur PC is prone to crashes, if you hav a stable system like mine then there will be no problem! |

Nope what I usually have to do is stay stationary in the car for up to 2 minutes before it acquires a fix. |

When I first bought the unit, it could get a fix indoors and usually within 30 seconds. Recently when using the unit in the car, it could take up to 2 minutes ... |
