You need a special cable for the PC, there is one supplied in some packages but it's only for charging the unit. It will most likely appear in windows as a malfunctioning unit or nothing at all.

You would think they might mention that the usb cable supplied isn't for data! Oh well, at least I don't have a faulty unit although it does seem to take about half an hour to get a lock...  |
