Not falling off, but as much use as a chocolate fireguard. It just won't stay on the pins, so stays permanently folded back on the magnetic holder. I'm plucking up the courage to just cut it off. |

WHat model zumo? Only the 550 speaks road names. I find mine tells me the road name often enough. |

I agree - volume is useless:
a) above 40mph on a bike, earplugs loosley in, windnoise/can noise coming in through lid
b) using the mount speaker in car at 70mph (AC was on at the time)

Garmin's eTrex series is built for this. Bicycle style mount, trip data and programmable coords / routes / previous tracks. AA battery powered that lasts an age. |

the mio 269+ has a motorcycle setting in the menu so therefore i would assume it is built to go on bikes thats why im a bit confused

Can you verify your set up please? Is this Bluetooth Rider to Starcom1 and then Bluetooth Starcom1 to headset? Or are you using a wire between something, like the headset?

This unit does come with streetmaps of Ireland and larger European roads (italy). If you want streetmaps of italy it will cost more (try www.medionshop.co.uk) as they come on a separate memory card.
