I agree with the comment, I have the verbal warning but the "ding" is VERY LOUD and very annoying!

There are two ways; first use Garmin's free MapSource or basecamp software allows you to back up your Satnav to your PC. Second is to back up POIs as .csv files, examples here:

Same problem with mine on 5.30 software. I'm on my third "hard" reset. After the first two I reloaded my routes back on and the same problem recurred after a week or so.

This used to happen to my Garmin when it was almost "full up" and there was no internal storage space left to operate.

Have you removed things like languages you will never use, text languages etc ...

If you intend to download European Speed cameras, you need to load a seperate list of POIs to your Garmin; that one you will set to kph and the garmin will automatically warn you at the correct speed. ...
