Only the small icon on the road itself will appear.
The large icon in the top left corner and the audio (sound effect or voice) are the "warn when near" setup and it's that which will be missing.

TT will continue to support 3rd party POI lists, but NOT the 3rd party sounds that might go with them
Correct, to be exact you will no longer be able to configure any alerts for 3rd party POIs.

Tim, you need to concatenate the various files in a single POI file for the device, to do this I use a PC application called POIEdit which is very easy to use, try a search for POIEdit or try Here

No problems here but make a full Windows Explorer backup first..
v.8.351 ... I'm still getting flickering screen .... I haven't heard of a fix for that, yet....

Yep - it works, too! Just as well since driving on Malta/Gozo can be very difficult since few road signs/directions exist out of the towns!!!
