| You're right - I just checked the box and it says "external antenna" not receiver. I didn't realise there was a difference. Thanks. |

I have a Mitac Mio 168, which came with an external GPS receiver as an extra. Is it possible to connect this to a laptop with some kind of adapter, and if so what do I need?

Big thumbs up for GPS For Less from me too. The Brodit mount I ordered had to be returned as it was the wrong one (problem with the Brodit database) but the replacement arrived within a few days.

The trick is to walk into the shop and say:-
"I'm interested in buying a new such-and-such. At the first mention of 'Extended Warranty' I will walk straight out of the shop."
Works every time. |
