I believe the M62 managed section has random cameras on when the variable limit isn't set.

A few weeks back I was happy moving along at 70mph, overtaking in the outside lane, when a Audi/BMW starte ...

I saw some of these out in the wild in Halifax over the weekend.
At 30mph they are easy enough to spot, I don't know if you could at 50mph though....

Waze briefly trialled this in the UK last year, and it wasn't intrusive.

The Waze map interface does not show POIs like Tom Tom or Garmin units do, so all that happened was a POI icon appeared for ...

Absolutely correct.

I have been doing the same daily commute for years. For the last few months though I have dropped my speed down to 56 - 60 mph in with the trucks. I'm finding it so much more re ...

I'm glad to see PGPSW have been giving Waze more coverage recently.
I think Tom Tom's recent press release regarding open source mapping was aimed at Waze as well as Openstreetmap. Waze are a real t ...

I'm glad I found this thread.

My 540 started to run out of power and shutting down whilst plugged into the original charger in the car.
I put it down to the battery wearing out, so replaced it.

I've recently replaced the battery in my 540, and have concluded I must not have put the board back in fraction of a millimeter perfect, as it frequently won't charge on the cradle unless I wiggle it ...

One solution I wish Tom Tom would implement would be to replace the "a new route has been found" screen with a map overview zoomed to show
