How many POI files have you got in the map folder?TTN6 has a limit of 100 any more categories than that and the device will not display the POI files for selection - Mike

used to have a similar problem from time to time with my old hx 2110.
this worked for me delete the pairing and soft reset then pair again, select your device in tom tom this used to sort it for mont ... |

Have you fully shut down the other GPS application before trying to run up TomTom, if GPS Pad still has a connection to the GPS the TomTom will not be able to see it - Mike
