OK, after a while trying the phone on, but starting TomTom before connecting to the CR-100 I can conclude that they don't like each other. Every long journey has resulted in a crash (XDA, not the car! ...

May have a solution although I've still to try it some more.

I left the phone on, but immediately after placing the XDAII in the CR-100, I started TomTom. Allowed it to run through the route findin ...

Dave,

No, the option to use mobile schedule to sync is not on.

I'm on GSM rather than GPRS. Not sure if that would make a difference. I can't see why it would want to dial out when connected or ...

Dave,

I'm using the Holux CR-100 cradle. If I use my bluetooth GPS receiver, everything works fine, but as soon as power is applied to the CR-100 with my XDAII in place, it tries to dial out. This ...

DOK,

Which XDA are you using? Are you having any problems with the XDA dialling out or trying to ActiveSync?

I am using an XDAII and have to disable the phone and put up with ActiveSync errors w ...

langers,

I'm not sure about the compatibility in terms of shape with the CR-100 and the XDAIIs but given the problems with ActiveSync and dialling with the XDAII and the CR-100 I would hold fire ju ...

Dave,

Looks like you have been able to get some information from Holux. Do they have any ideas (or are they working on a solution) about the problem with the XDAII dialing up when power is applied ...

Still getting problems with the XDAII and CR-100 combination. No reply from Holux yet so I don't know if they are looking at a solution. I've still found the only way to achieve success is to turn off ...

I'm having trouble with my XDAII and the CR-100. It causes the XDA to try and dial a connection after which the XDA will crash. Turning the phone off sorts the problem, but negates the advantage in ha ...

Funny you should mention ActiveSync as I noticed it coming on today again. I agree with you that this is where the attempt to connect is coming from. This is probably what Dave was hoping wo ...
