Just tried out TTN 5.1 and it works pretty well (given the outdated hardware). TTFF cold about 15 mins (whilst driving) and warm in under 5. I've bought a Holux 236 which is infinately better TTFF o ... |

download the pois from the pocketgpsworld site - it's easier than copying them over, alternatively, copy the POI file from the map directory of TT3 into the map directory of TT5.

By 'comfort' windscreen are you meaning re-radiating? No, it's an 03 Vectra which TT3 has worked flawlessly in since new (60,000 miles).
I mean a heat reflecting (sometimes called comfort) winds ... |

I have virtually the same setup and I'd entirely agree with you, however I think you're lucky as you can get a fix by holding it outside your window - I have to just wait an hour or so TTFF! Have you ... |

just tested it...
TTN worked fine, if a little wobbly, but Checkpoint wouldn't pick up on the cameras or sound alarms
as there isn't an option to set the GPS settings in Checkpoint is there another ... |

Good advice, Gav. Put your iPAQ & sleeve outside and leave it on to get a fix. It can take forever if you are trying to get a fix whilst moving.

No valid GPS Signal means that the sleeve can't see any satellites. Have you taken it outside for a good look at the sky? The Navman 3000 isn't as sensitive as the newer SE model.
